◉ Setup“VPN Activation Service”
※ Note that the VPN service will be disabled if you have no VPN activities for 90 days.
     You will need to re-activate your account in order to enable the VPN service.
1. Please choose one of the following methods to proceed to the "AS e-Form System".
1-1. Go to the homepage of Academia Sinica, scroll down to the bottom, click on "Administrative Service" under "Quick Links", and then click "Login" at the top right.
 1-1. Enter https://asbpm.its.sinica.edu.tw in your browser and log in to the system with your SSO account.
1-2. Log in to the system with your SSO account.
1-3. Click on the "Individual" icon.
1-4. Click on the "VPN Activation" link.
※ After logging in to the "AS e-Form System" using any of the above methods, the subsequent operations are the same.
2. Sequentially click on the「➊Forms」,「➋All Processes and Applications」,「➌Administrative Service」,「➍VPN Activation Application」,「➎Initiate Process」 tabs and buttons.
3. In the application form, select “Activate” in the “Apply” top-down menu and then click the "Submit" button.
4. After submission, there will be a pop-up dialog showing you have completed the application. Please click "OK" button.
5. Please log in to your gate mailbox to receive an email titled: "Academia Sinica VPN service activate Success Notification".
The attached image file named "(your gate uid).png" will be used to set up the dynamic password function required for establishing VPN connections on your phone after installing the "Google Authenticator" application.
Please click on the "Install Google Authenticator on Your Phone" link under "Setup Process" on the left side to proceed to the second step of the setup process.
